Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which Laura Starky Ltd (Company Number 15313476), trading as The Somatic Wellness Hub, provides services including therapy sessions, women’s circles, courses, retreats and membership programmes (“Services”). By booking or purchasing any Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services
1.1 Services may include individual somatic therapy sessions, group circles, retreats, courses (in person or online), and membership access.
1.2 Full details of each Service are set out on the relevant booking or sales page.
1.3 Services are designed to support personal wellbeing and development. They are not a substitute for medical treatment or professional mental health care.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Services are available to individuals aged 18 and over.
2.2 By booking, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Payment is required at the time of booking or subscription. Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Hey Marvelous).
3.2 For membership subscriptions, payment will be taken automatically on a rolling basis until cancelled in line with these Terms.
3.3 It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details are correct and up to date.
3.4 If payments fail, access to Services may be suspended until payment is received.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Individual Sessions
4.1 If you need to reschedule a 1:1 session, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
4.2 Missed sessions without notice will not be refunded.
Women’s Circles, Workshops & Retreats
4.3 Bookings are non-refundable but may be transferable at our discretion if notified at least 7 days before the event.
Membership & Online Courses
4.4 Membership subscriptions can be cancelled at any time by emailing laura@laurastarky.co.uk at least 7 days before your next billing date. Access will continue until the end of your billing period.
4.5 Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase, unless you choose to access digital content immediately, in which case you waive this right.
4.6 Refunds are not provided for partial months or unused content.
5. Confidentiality
5.1 Confidentiality is an essential part of therapeutic work. Information shared in sessions is kept private, except where disclosure is required by law, professional duty, or where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
5.2 Group settings (e.g. circles or membership forums) rely on mutual respect and confidentiality. You agree not to share personal information or stories of other participants outside the group.
6. Conduct in Groups
6.1 You agree to conduct yourself respectfully in circles, retreats, membership spaces and online forums.
6.2 Behaviour that is offensive, discriminatory or harmful may result in removal without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All materials provided, including course content, recordings, meditations, and resources, remain the intellectual property of Laura Starky Ltd.
7.2 You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for your own learning and wellbeing. You may not copy, share, or distribute them without written permission.
8. Health Disclaimer
8.1 Services support personal growth and wellbeing but are not medical advice or treatment.
8.2 If you are under medical or psychiatric care, please consult your healthcare provider before engaging in Services.
8.3 You remain responsible for your own health, choices and wellbeing during and after sessions.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 While Services are delivered with care and professionalism, results vary for each individual. No specific outcomes are guaranteed.
9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service.
9.3 We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Complaints
10.1 If you have concerns about a Service, please contact laura@laurastarky.co.uk promptly so they can be addressed.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
