This free mini-course is about listening to your body, building safety slowly, and creating the conditions for ease to emerge. If your mind feels busy day and night, or your body holds tension in your shoulders, jaw or belly even when nothing “bad” is happening, your nervous system may be stuck in protection mode.

This trauma-informed somatic mini-course designed to help you soften anxiety, release chronic tension and return to a felt sense of safety, gently, slowly and without effort. This course does not ask you to think your way calm. It supports your body in remembering how to feel safe again, at a pace that honours your capacity.

This course may be supportive if you live with anxiety, overwhelm, burnout or chronic stress. Feel tense, restless or on edge in your body. Struggle with overthinking, perfectionism or people-pleasing. Long to feel calmer without working harder or fixing yourself. Want a compassionate, body-led approach to nervous system healing. You don’t need experience with somatic work, you don’t need to feel ready, you only need a small willingness to begin.

Meet Laura

Somatic wisdom for awakening, healing and aliveness

Laura Starky is the founder of the Somatic Wellness Hub with over 25 years’ experience in trauma, mental health and substance misuse. Her work combines trauma-informed somatic therapy with non-dual contemplative wisdom, supporting adults who understand their patterns intellectually yet still find themselves caught in repeating emotional reactions or nervous system overwhelm. Alongside her therapy practice, Laura teaches embodied meditation and holds small group circles that support people to reconnect with the body and integrate their experiences in everyday life.
